As per the option selected, your day will unfold as follows:

    Stonehenge Morning Special Access Tour:

Depart for Stonehenge from London. At Stonehenge, private groups will be given privileged access to the inside of the stone circle before the site opens to the public. The tour lasts for an hour and is fully guided.

One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Stonehenge is believed to have been built between 3000 and 2000 BC and continues to confound and intrigue experts through the ages. Walk around the mystifying circular formation of tall, standing stones. Experts still debate whether these were intended as an observatory of the moon, a temple to the sun, or an elaborate cemetery. The prehistoric stone circle and its surroundings having recently been restored back to its original, unaltered landscape.

After Stonehenge, you will next head to Salisbury. You can spend some time in the Salisbury Cathedral (admission included) and then enjoy sightseeing in the town. A medieval cathedral city in the southern English county of Wiltshire, the quintessentially English countryside surrounding the city is soothing to the eye and a must-do for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

You will then depart Salisbury and head back to central London.

    Stonehenge Evening Special Access Tour:

After the pick-up, you will first head to the charming village of Avebury where you'll have a short walking tour of the stone circle that surrounds the tiny village. Following this, you are free to explore the village on your own. You can have lunch at the infamous haunted Red Lion Pub, though it does get busy at peak times.

After a short drive down the road, stop by Silbury Hill and take a walk up the hillside to West Kennet Long Barrow, one of the largest Neolithic burial tombs in Britain and over 5000 years old. Enjoy enlivening commentary by your guide as you explore the burial chambers.

After that, you will be visiting the Stonehenge once its closed to the general public. Explore the stone circle on a 1-hour guided tour and enjoy a truly other-worldly experience as your guide fills you in on the mysteries that surround the Stonehenge.

The tour ends with a trip back to Central London.
